Camping Cooking Wood
Why Use Wood for Camping Meals
Whether you’re cooking over a fire pit in a national park, grilling breakfast by a mountain stream, or preparing foil-wrapped meals on a wild campsite, the right wood makes every outdoor cookout smoother and more enjoyable. Our ultra-dry, kiln-dried logs and torches ignite easily, burn hot and steady, and produce minimal smoke — ideal for campsites, picnic areas, and vanlife stoves.
They’re lightweight, compact, and plastic-free, making them easy to pack and store wherever your adventure takes you.
Wood Options Explained
- Birch: Quick to ignite and fast to heat up — perfect for morning coffee fires, speedy one-pan meals, or grilling fish lakeside.
- Ash: Consistent burn and easy to manage — great for mixed cooking duties like boiling, frying, or toasting over flame.
- Oak: Longer burn and deep embers — perfect for evening meals, slow cooking, or when you want to keep the fire going for warmth.
All logs are approx. 25cm long, and come kiln-dried to under 15% moisture content.
